☕ Tailside: Cozy Cafe Sim turned out to be exactly the cosy café game I'd been hoping to find. I've played a few games in this genre now, but this was the first one that really captured the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere I was looking for. From the moment I started serving drinks, I found myself settling into its gentle pace.
🎨 Making coffees, creating latte art and decorating the café all felt genuinely enjoyable. Nothing ever felt rushed or stressful, allowing me to simply enjoy building my little café while welcoming a steady stream of charming customers. It's the kind of game that encourages you to slow down and appreciate the little moments.
🌲 I also loved how the world gradually opens up as you play. Discovering the forest sprites, expanding beyond the initial café and unlocking new opportunities gave me plenty to look forward to without ever overwhelming me. There was always another small goal waiting just around the corner.
📰 One feature that really stood out for me was the local newspaper. It's a lovely little touch that helps the café feel connected to the surrounding community and adds personality to the world beyond simply serving drinks. Details like that make the whole experience feel far more alive.
