Tom's Verdict
🎮 Re:blade delivers a satisfying incremental gameplay loop that's easy to settle into. Earning gold, unlocking upgrades and gradually becoming more powerful kept me engaged, and there's enough content beyond the first playthrough to tempt fans of the genre back for more.
⚠️ My biggest criticism is the way the game is marketed. Re:blade is presented as an action roguelike, but that's simply not the experience it delivers. If you go in expecting a traditional roguelike, you're likely to be disappointed. Viewed instead as a straightforward incremental game, it's a much easier title to appreciate.
👍 For the asking price, Re:blade offers good value and an enjoyable few hours of progression. It doesn't do anything particularly groundbreaking, and the misleading description does hold it back in my eyes, but there's still a solid incremental game underneath. As long as you know what you're buying, it's certainly 👍 Worth a Look.
