Tom's Verdict
๐ฏ Colony Defense reminded me why I fell in love with tower defence games in the first place. It takes the classic mechanics that have stood the test of time and wraps them in a stylish neon presentation, while still demanding thoughtful strategy and careful planning. Every victory feels earned, and every defeat teaches you something new.
๐ง Don't expect an easy ride. This is a game that assumes you're willing to experiment, adapt and improve rather than relying on tutorials or hand holding. I enjoyed discovering different approaches, and the colour-coded tower mechanics add another layer of tactical decision-making that kept me thinking throughout my playtime.
๐ I've already recorded two videos on Colony Defense and fully intend to play more, which says everything about how much I've enjoyed it. It's challenging, rewarding and offers excellent value for money with plenty of replayability. I'm genuinely surprised it hasn't attracted a larger audience yet, because for tower defence fans, this is an easy recommendation from me. ๐
