Tom's Verdict
💜 Flufftopia immediately won me over with its charming presentation and satisfying progression. It's one of those games that's incredibly easy to sit down with for 'just a few minutes', only to realise quite a bit more time has passed as you unlock one upgrade after another. Everything feels rewarding without becoming overwhelming.
🐷 One of the things I enjoyed most was that the game isn't quite as predictable as it first appears. I won't spoil anything here because discovering it for yourself is absolutely part of the experience, but I found myself becoming far more invested than I initially expected. It manages to balance cosy gameplay with a surprising amount of personality.
☕ The only thing I found myself wishing for was Steam achievements. After spending time building my town and progressing through the game, it would have been nice to have a few achievements to work towards. Having said that, I completely understand the developer's reasoning for leaving them out, as they could easily spoil parts of the experience. Even without them, this is an easy recommendation from me and one I thoroughly enjoyed playing.
