Tom's Verdict
๐ฐ Rush Tower may only be an early demo, but it immediately gave me confidence that the developers are building on a solid foundation. From the moment I placed my first towers, everything felt intuitive and easy to understand, allowing me to focus on strategy rather than trying to work out complicated mechanics.
โ๏ธ What impressed me most was how well balanced the gameplay already feels. Enemy waves build at a comfortable pace, the towers are satisfying to use and every decision feels meaningful. It never became frustrating, yet it still encouraged me to think carefully about where and when to strengthen my defences.
๐ฏ The biggest limitation isn't the gameplay itselfโit's simply that the demo ends too soon. With only two maps and ten waves on each, I found myself reaching the end just as I was settling into my strategy. Rather than feeling disappointed, it simply left me wanting more, which is probably one of the best compliments you can give an early demo.
๐ It's also worth remembering that this is still very much a work in progress. There are no gameplay settings to tweak yet and the amount of content is understandably limited, but the core mechanics already feel polished enough that I can easily see the game's potential as development continues.
๐ I genuinely enjoyed my time with Rush Tower and finished my session excited to see what comes next. If the developers continue building on these foundations with more maps, longer battles and additional content, I think this could become a very enjoyable tower defence game.
For me, Rush Tower earns a ๐ Tom Recommends for this demo version. It's already fun to play, easy to pick up and shows plenty of promise, leaving me genuinely looking forward to seeing how the full game develops. ๐ฐ๐ฎ
