About The Game

🥫 My Name is Mayo 3 brings the wonderfully bizarre clicker trilogy to a close, inviting players to once again spend their time enthusiastically clicking a jar of mayonnaise. Along the way you'll unlock new costumes, achievements and quirky interactions, but this time the adventure takes a more story-driven approach, giving the series a surprisingly meaningful conclusion.

😂 While the trademark humour is still very much present, the third game isn't afraid to slow things down and explore more emotional themes. The self-aware jokes, fourth-wall-breaking dialogue and absurd situations remain, but they're joined by moments that genuinely encourage you to care about the fate of one very unusual mayonnaise jar. It's an unexpected combination that works far better than you might imagine.

✨ The finale also introduces a handful of fun mini-games alongside the familiar clicking mechanics, helping to keep the experience fresh while bringing the story to its conclusion. It's still a short, affordable game that's easy to complete in a single sitting, but My Name is Mayo 3 proves there's a little more substance hidden beneath the creamy exterior than anyone could have expected.

Tom's Verdict

Going into My Name is Mayo 3, I expected more of the same. More clicking, more costumes, more bizarre humour and plenty more jokes at the expense of a humble jar of mayonnaise.

What I didn't expect was to find myself becoming emotionally invested.

The first two games are wonderfully daft and never pretend to be anything other than silly fun. This third entry still has plenty of that charm, but it also takes the story in a direction I genuinely wasn't prepared for. Without spoiling anything, there were moments that hit surprisingly hard. Having lost my own dad a few years ago, one particular part of the story really resonated with me and reminded me just how powerful even the simplest games can be when they're written with heart.

The addition of mini-games also helps to keep things feeling fresh, and while you're still clicking your way through thousands of taps, there's enough variety to stop it becoming repetitive. I also appreciated that the developers didn't simply copy and paste the previous games. They took a risk by giving the finale its own identity, and for me, it paid off.

If you've played the first two games, then this is the perfect way to round off the trilogy. It's still funny, still wonderfully ridiculous and still incredible value for money, but it also proves that even a game about clicking a jar of mayonnaise can tell a story worth remembering. Sometimes the biggest surprises come in the most unexpected jars. 😊
